“Sir, Prasna Upanishad says that when God wanted to create the Universe, He went into a meditation and out of that the ether or Space and Pranan came. He thought both these would create the Universe for Him. And so it happened, sir. The Universe is a conglomeration of the space and Pranan. The same Upanishad says the sun is the external form of Pranan!”

“So you want to say that everything here is as you say the conglomeration of the Space and Pranan?” the Super Star could not contain his anger anymore. “I want you to prove it, man, or else is the situation!”

“You are a scientist, sir. Take the matter, any matter, like trees, human flesh, flowers, beats all matters are made of atoms. You know that well. I am not the one to lecture you on that. But if you take the irreducible atom of any matter, the atom consists of protons, electrons, neutrons and atomic particles, etc., The Tamil writer, late Sujatha has written a book on the theory of relativity and the quantum theory of Albert Einstein and the consequences and possibilities. It is not for guys like you, sir. The book is lay men and women like me. In the book, among other things, Mr. Sujatha says if an atom is magnified into the size of a circus tent, the above said proton, etc would form just the size of a mustard seed! As you know, sir, the rest of the place in the circus tent is just space or ether! Can you imagine, sir? I have high imagination, sir. When I read the book I could not think of anyother things for a whole week. If this is the personality of atom,sir, why it is the personality of ours and that of the Universe! Have you thought of this, sir, that the space and Pranan made for God the other four elements, water, earth, air and fire? Take anything sir and take its irreducible atom and this is atom’s personality!

The Super Star, for the first time, kept quiet. He liked the layman, Manikkam’s way of putting atomical things. So he simply smiled at Manikkam encouragingly and shook his head in agreement with the inventor of the Time Machine.

“Nobody has said anything conclusive, sir, about that thing which gives shape to the conglomeration of atoms. It’s been proved, sir, that atoms themselves cannot join together to make things. They say it is the God particles that give the mass to the conglomeration of the atoms. Now the scientists like you are onto those God particles. But some four thousand years back the Vedopanishadic sages have come up with the theory of Universe and its ultimate destruction!”

“The ultimate destruction, Manikkam. Do you think it possible?  Are you a votary of the Kalki yuga and at the time of pralaya or involution of the Universe, Lord Vishnu would come here mounted on a white horse?

“Four thousand years ago they spoke in the idiom current at that time, sir. And putting anything important in allegorical terms is native to our Sages,” Manikkam said.

There was an absolute silence for quite some time before Manikkam started to speak.
