KARIKALAN AND THE TIME MACHINE
Valli was sad because she could not find her cousin outside the temple. On the one hand, she was sad that she could not find her sprightly cousin, and on the other, she was afraid of losing the man Nature had created and sent for her from somewhere. So valli could not come inside the temple and was not to see the carbon copy of our Super Star.
Valli’s parents and brother Mayan did not get to see our Super Star or the Kanji Sivanesar. Because it was a crowded place.
But at last, when Kumanan wanted to investigate the commotion along with Valli’s father and the officer he had been talking to, had seen our Chennai Super Star too!
Valli, when she had been talking to our Chennai Super Star who was in ochre clothes, he had taken as an innocuous thing. Probably she, he had thought, was asking for the blessings of the monk. Anyhow he had been coming up and first had seen Valli’s father and the officer, and so did not have time to send his eyesight toward Valli and the man she had been talking with a laughing face. But now when he had seen our Super Star who closely resembled the Kanji Brahmin, the man of lights, Kumnan felt sick. He could not tell why he was feeling this sickness. He had been with Kabaligan the cannibal for long enough to have got over any kind of sickness. This evening he had wanted to offer Valli to the Devil of Kabaligan and then rape her before Kabaligan would eat her! But why did he feel a worrying sickness in the pit of his stomach. Nausea came up to his throat and he had been having terribly sick time in gulping it down. So Valli knew this carbon copy of the Kanji Sivanesar! He should immediately see his cannibal friend and speak to him, he had decided.
Thus in that Siva Temple of the Chola kingdom, there was space enough for the friend of a cannibal!
